Early Enrollment for Siblings
Siblings of children currently or previously enrolled at Gilmore Preschool will be given an opportunity to enroll their child in advance of the enrollment date. Deadline for completed forms and cheques must be handed in to the enrollment officer by January 31st. Any outstanding dues, fees or fines owed by a family need to be paid prior to enrollment. Please email the Enrollment officer for more information.
Re-Enrollment for Current Students
Children currently enrolled in our Three-Year-Old Program will be automatically enrolled in our Four-Year-Old Program the following year, pending receipt of a completed re-application form and all post-dated cheques for the next school year. Deadline to hand in the forms and cheques is January 31.
Wait-list
A new wait-list will be created every year on the enrollment day. The intent is to keep the wait-list current and consistent with our first-in policy. When a spot opens up in a class, you will be contacted by the enrollment officer. You are given 24 hours to confirm your spot with Gilmore Preschool before moving onto the next child. After acceptance, a completed registration package and all cheques will be required on the first day of class for your child.
Special Needs Children
Children who require extra support are most welcome into our programs. Families of students who require a Special Needs Assistant are required to have or obtain full funding to hire their own assistant prior to their child beginning our program. Please speak with the Enrollment Officer or Supervising Teacher to ensure that your child’s assistant meets Gilmore Preschool’s licensing requirements.
In addition, a one-on-one orientation and meeting with the family and Special Needs Assistant will be arranged with the teachers before your child begins class.
